I've had the pleasure of watching two immature Bald Eagles grow over the past couple months and witnessed this little one take it's first flight a couple weeks ago. It's sibling had yet to fly beyond the branch their nest is sitting on.

incredible! My brother's teacher has an eagle's nest near his house and got permission to put a webcam up in the nest...fast forward a year after the male eagle's mate died and a new one came along they got to watch the three eggs hatch and finally leave the nest.
