Oh...I see.....I guess you have seen them lately!!!! LOL! Nice!
lol. Yea I go a couple times a month and they are always out from open until about 3pm. Same with the new lion brothers.
Isn't it fun to watch them play? They may be larger now, but they're still cubs! Do you know if they intend to keep them?
Yea they are a lot of fun. They will definitely keep at least 1 of the females for breeding as this was the mother's 3rd set of cubs and she will no longer breeding. Probably in 1.5~2years they will send a female and the male to another zoo. The adult male will probably leave sooner than that. I would guess they will keep Toma (the mother) for the rest of her life.
I know; isn't that sad? You've watched these "kids" for so long and then they are sent away somewhere! I was watching some cubs at the Cincinnati Zoo and last summer they were gone (which was the correct time frame [2 years with Mom]) but no one could tell me anything about them...where they went, etc. It was as if none of the staff had ever heard of them and I'd been watching them for two years!!! I wanted to know what happened to them. Truthfully, it really disappointed me and kinda made me mad with the Zoo.
It's amazing how big their paws are!! Great action shot!
