2nd annual hiking trip at Hawk Mountain with ~Sooper-Deviant and ~MASOCHO. Had a little more excitement than last year when we happened upon a Timber Rattlesnake. Definitely not what we came to see :)

That's awesome--my heart would have leapt and then I'd swing up the camera and start snapping away. I love the burst of sunlight on the snake's head. =D

I heard about the guy that picked up the Timber Rattler with a stick from Anthony. I was shaking my head after that. Too many Steve Irwin shows. :no: Still, I'm glad you got a good shot of her/him.

Dude I havnt even posted the San Juan islands or Alaska yet. Next time I visit my brother u can tag along. Rainier climb is about 7-8hrs with good climber. I took a girl and cameras and it was 10 1/2
Round trip.
